lyrics

When it's all said & done
I wrote my story, I told mine
A mourner in the city
Of the corner & those no longer with me, with us
Cause who else would write it with a fist
It's suicide to battle this
True indeed, forgiveness mercy & the healing
True & living, the news that stays new
The corner stone been in the building blocks
Since the beginning let loose
A poet in pursuit of killing clocks
Youngins out here drilling
We should be drilling cops
Cut the wire, trust in the amplifier
The beat that never drops
I caught these drums mid-flight
On a search with a thirst for better days
I seen a woman with no worth try to purchase her sense of direction
Retail therapy, i seen a man try to do the same thing
Was it all a day dream?
When it's all said & done
Where do you begin & end
Is it all the same thing?
Read my rights, wrote my wrongs
Dead the mic & resurrect the silence with 2 fingers on the pulse of the moment
The slow flow is golden

Read my rights, wrote my wrongs
Dead the mic & resurrect the silence through song
With 2 fingers on the pulse of the moment
Hold it down with a soul in sound
The slow flow is golden

Put your hands up like you're wearing strait jackets
Know the ledge & suffer better
Suffer together, it's a lonely road when the only goal is soul's survival
How the path unfolds, with each step the past crumbles into dust
Of light & dim, of mice & men, or time & time again
Rumble young man rumble
In the oldest known battle in the history of life & death
The search for self....

Put your hands up like you're wearing strait jackets
It's Haswrath since the beginning 'til the end of this habitat
& beyond that
These songs just a glimpse of timelessness
In the midst of madness
Not an inch given to the opposition

Sending a message in a bottle, I hope you get it
I put it to the water & prayed 4 the wind full throttle
Cause tomorrow's not promised
& i know of one or two voices from the othershore
who could match a face in my memory
